Student Health and Wellness
TTC promotes each student’s well-being with services that support physical, nutritional and mental wellness.
Dining Services are available for students to grab a bite to eat. Find options on Thornley and Palmer Campus wth touchless payment accessibility.
The TTC Grocery Vault allows students to focus on their studies without sacrificing their nutrition or worrying about their finances. Order free groceries online for pick-up or delivery.
The InterTech Group Wellness Center is a free fitness center for current students. The wellness center is located on Thornley Campus.
Public Safety is available on every campus to ensure every student’s safety. Contact Public Safety at 843-574-6053 (for non-emergencies) or 843-574-6911 (for emergencies).
Personal Counseling is here to help students address an immediate concern.
Study Rooms are available at TTC libraries for individual or group study sessions.
The Cosmetology Clinic and Dental Hygiene Clinic provide services performed by current TTC Cosmetology and Dental Hygiene students. Clinics are located on campus and open to the public.
Getting Connected at TTC
Despite being a commuter college, social events and opportunities occur on each campus throughout the year for students to participate in and socialize.
TTC Campuses offer many locations for students to convene, including student lounge areas, study rooms and dining spaces.
Student Life offers opportunities for students to get involved in the college, develop social and professional skills, and participate in fun events and activities, such as student organizations, the student cabinet, student ambassadorship, campus events, Student Life periods and career services.
TTC Alumni and Friends provides opportunities for former students who have successfully completed courses to stay connected to the college and participate in mutually beneficial activities and initiatives.
Travel and Study Abroad Opportunities are encouraged and available to students over the age of eighteen. Many TTC trips are credit-bearing and program-specific.
Academic Support and Advising
At TTC, you can find help throughout your entire academic journey, from enrollment to graduation, to get the most out of college and ensure your success in the future.
The Student Success Center is a one-stop shop for students looking for general help, orientation information, a success coach or advisor, and referrals as needed.
The Registrar’s Office offers help with the registration process, evaluation and award of transfer credits, course substitutions, program of study changes and applying for graduation.
Academic Advising helps determine how courses fit into your academic schedule and how to best use your resources to accomplish your academic goals.
Academic Skills Development and Counseling helps undecided students or students uncertain of their program of study decide or reaffirm the academic path they want to take. Counselors can also help with developing college and academic skills.
Learning Resources
Learning resources are available in person and online to help all TTC students with their studies and academic success.
Tutoring resources are available at TTC, including learning services and study spaces on campus. The TTC Library also offers tutoring and academic assistance at home.
The TTC Library supports all programs of study and informational needs of the college, on and off campus. Students, faculty and staff have access to all items in the library’s collection, research resources and library services, both in-person and online. TTC’s libraries are on the Thornley and Palmer campuses, with remote services at the Berkeley, Mount Pleasant and Dorchester Thompson campuses.
The Student Resource Center assists with D2L, access to Microsoft Office 365, MyITLab, preparing for online classes, scholarship and transfer assistance and technology learning sessions.
The TTC Bookstore sells the textbooks and supplies you need at the college.
Career Services
Get prepared for a career before finishing college. TTC offers resources to discover your career path, find and prepare for a job and gain the necessary skills.

Career Counseling helps students find a career path that is meaningful to them.
The Federal Work-Study Program is a part-time employment program for eligible students to work on or off campus while attending school. It offers work experience, job opportunities and employment earnings.
