The Sustainable Agriculture certificate addresses large and small-scale food production from seed to sales with an emphasis on farms and food markets. The coursework covers sustainable agricultural practices, organic farming and post-harvest handling. Graduates will possess the skills to network with businesses that comprise the local food system, including wholesalers, farmers’ market managers, equipment providers, farm-to-school operations and urban agriculture.

Admission into this program requires proof of high school graduation (or GED) and qualifying scores on SAT, ACT or the TTC placement test. |
