Fire Service Career Pathway

60 Credit Hours

The Management degree has four pathways with shared general education and core requirements. Students can only complete one pathway for this degree.

The Fire Service path is designed to help meet the educational needs of fire service employees and provide a foundation of skills necessary for effective leadership. This career path is designed for students who have completed specified training at the S.C. Fire Academy (SCFA) or other approved training programs.

*Students may receive a maximum of nine credit hours for SCFA 1000 series courses completed. All other SCFA course work submitted for exemption credit must be at the 2000 series level or above.

Admission Requirements

Admission into this program requires proof of high school graduation (or GED) and qualifying scores on SAT, ACT or the TTC placement test.
