Greenhouse and Nursery Management Certificate (CAS.GRNM)

The Greenhouse and Nursery Management certificate prepares students for entry-level positions in greenhouses, nurseries, garden centers and horticultural production facilities, as well as advancement within the green industry. This hands-on certificate emphasizes greenhouse operations, nursery crop production, plant propagation, irrigation systems, fertility management and pest and disease control. Students gain practical experience managing greenhouse environments, producing market-ready plants and applying sustainable production practices using industry-standard techniques and technology.

Admission Requirements


Students who are at least 18 years old and have acceptable scores from the SAT, ACT or placement test can be admitted into this program without a high school diploma or GED.
