CUL 234 - Southern Foodways


Lecture: 2 Lab: 3 Credit: 3

This course will take the student on a culinary tour of the regional cuisine of the South through its connection to the African Diaspora. The students will critically think and discuss food history, culture, native ingredients, and other topics related to Southern Foodways and prepare a weekly meal corresponding to the region.

Prerequisite: CUL 215  or permission of the instructor
