Culinary Institute of Charleston


The Culinary Institute of Charleston (CIC) at TTC provides students with the technical skills that industry and community partners need, providing students with viable options when seeking employment in this highly competitive field. Within South Carolina, hospitality and culinary employment is significant. CIC responds to the expanding educational needs of one of the area’s largest industries. The economic impact of this industry continues to increase nationally and internationally.

Classes focus on quality in product and service with hands-on training in modern CIC laboratories and restaurants and through cooperative industry work experiences. Education within this field offers a range of employment opportunities and career progression.

CIC’s Associate in Applied Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration.
