Associate in Applied Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology

91 Credit Hours

This degree prepares students to sit for the Federal Aviation Administration certification exam as airframe and/or powerplant technicians. Students are also prepared for employment repairing aircraft, engines and related systems with airlines, government agencies, aircraft manufacturers and aircraft service companies. Opportunities for career advancement include being a lead technician, authorized inspector, shop supervisor, maintenance director or business owner. The program is licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration under 14 CFR Part 147(#EC9T107R).
