ART 106 - History of Photography Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 Credit: 3 Contact Hours: 45 This course is a survey of the history of photography beginning with the emergence of the fixed image of the 1830s through contemporary trends. The emphasis of the class is the technical and aesthetic development of photography as a medium of historical and artistic expression.
