This course focuses on the knowledge, skills and abilities that are fundamental to nursing practice with application in acute or extended care settings.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of PN level Dosage Calculation Proficiency or AHS 126  and NUR 102 .
Corequisite: ENG 101  and PSY 201  
Additional Notes: Speak with your advisor about CPR certification, required immunizations/titers/tests, including the Hepatitis B vaccine series, major medical insurance, drug screen, criminal background check, and mandatory in-service requirements.
