SAC 209 - Introduction to Special Education for School-Age Children and Youth Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 Credit: 3 Contact Hours: 45 This course includes an overview of school-age children and youth with special needs. The course will review the history of the field, basic beliefs, current trends and exceptionality categories emphasizing treatment modalities, community resources, federal legislation and strategies for inclusion.
